Tech Tool Supply, the Story of a Successful Company

Brent Hagood of Tech Tool Supply  (TTS) has taken an idea of an untapped market and turned it into a successful business.  Starting out of his garage in 2004, Brent began distributing Low Voltage tools and equipment specializing in Cable TV, Satellite, CCTV, Home Theater, Phone, Data, Fire, and Security.  He has grown the business to over 47,000 customers in all 50 states and 8 countries.

Sales are though a world class website that include over 11,500 products and features innovative helpful videos and “How-To” information on the use of the products they sell.  Approximately 50% of sales are via the website with the remaining sales to major companies as Comcast, DirectTV, AT&T and government organizations such as the FBI, ATF and various school districts and universities.

What sets TTS apart from the others is their dedication to customer service and customer care and recently implemented a Customer Appreciation Week to show thanks to their loyal customers.

TTS recently organized a charity night called Camp Quality Night with the Plymouth Whalers to benefit Camp Quality Michigan, a camp for children with cancer and year round support for them and their families.  This first time event raised $2,200 through the hard work of the employees of TTS and they plan to make it an annual event.
