Huntington agrees to lend $2 billion in Michigan

Huntington Bancshares has hooked up with Michigan officials to commit $2billion to commercial and small-business lending in the state over the next four years.

The Columbus-based bank already is the top Small Business Administration lender in Michigan and No.3 in the country.

The deal with the state and the Michigan Economic Development Corp., a public-private partnership between the state and local communities to promote economic development in Michigan, is part of a $3billion initiative the state announced last week to help businesses expand and generate jobs.

If you are looking for funding, let me know.  I have the Huntington Bank contacts that would be happy to talk with you about your needs.
